Known Issues
------------
The following is a list of known issues with this release of the Mac OS USB v1.2.1d2.
- If you have a USB Mass Storage device connected which has a file open
by an application and you put the PowerBook to sleep, file corruption may occur.
- the CardBus cards will not work at all with any OS prior to 8.6b4
- the CardBus cards will work with USB v1.2 and OS 8.6, but only if
they are plugged into the CardBus slot at boot time. However, there are
problems with this config. Hot plugging will not work. The card will not
have the right name or Icon. Also, the card would be allowed to be
ejected with painful results.
- the USB CardBus Enabler included in this package will work with USB 1.2.
The card will have the correct name and icon. However, hot plugging
will not work reliably. If the card is in the machine at boot time with
this config, it will not be ejectable.
- hot-plugging and ejecting multiple times may cause USB to crash.
- The PowerBook G3 will lockup if CPU Power Cycling is enabled. Use the
"Advanced Settings" in the Energy Saver Control panel to turn off "Allow
Processor cycling".
